Weight Loss
Physician-supervised weight management that treats the whole person, coordinated with your overall health plan.
How we can help.
We treat the whole person, not just the number on the scale. Weight is connected to your heart, hormones, sleep, and chronic conditions, so our program starts with a provider evaluation and is coordinated with the rest of your care.
Your plan evolves with your latest labs, goals, and how you respond to treatment, so it is never a cookie-cutter approach.
Mind and behavior
We address the behavioral and emotional side of weight, with mindset and motivation as core parts of your program.
Metabolic medicine
Bloodwork, evidence-based medications, and ongoing metabolic monitoring matched to your body, not a generic protocol.
Personalized at every step
Your program evolves with your latest labs, goals, and treatment response. Every adjustment is specific to you.
Nutrition and lifestyle
Dietary planning and practical tools to build healthy habits that last beyond the medication.
Medications we may use.
Semaglutide: a GLP-1 receptor agonist
Semaglutide mimics a natural gut hormone to help reduce appetite, slow stomach emptying, and regulate blood sugar. In clinical trials (the STEP program), participants lost an average of about 15% of their body weight.
Tirzepatide: a dual GIP and GLP-1 agonist
Tirzepatide activates both GIP and GLP-1 receptors at the same time for appetite control and metabolic effects. In clinical trials (SURMOUNT-1), participants lost up to 20% or more of their body weight.
Both medications require a provider evaluation and ongoing monitoring, and they are not appropriate for everyone. Benefits seen in clinical use include meaningful weight reduction, improved blood sugar control in people with diabetes, and, in some high-risk patients, a lower risk of heart attack and stroke. Individual results vary, and your provider will decide whether a medication is right for you and at which dose.

How much could you lose?
Use our estimator to project your potential weight loss over time. It is based on results reported in published clinical trials, and your own results will vary.
This estimate is based on average results reported in published GLP-1 clinical trials (STEP and SURMOUNT-1) and a simplified model. Weight and BMI projections use the Hamwi ideal body weight formula. Individual results vary, and this tool is not medical advice. Talk with your provider before starting any weight loss program. Frequently asked.
What is semaglutide and how does it work?
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist that mimics a gut hormone released after eating. It slows stomach emptying, reduces appetite signals in the brain, and improves insulin sensitivity, supporting sustained weight loss when combined with lifestyle changes. It is prescribed and monitored by licensed providers.
How is this different from buying semaglutide online?
Online services typically offer minimal oversight. With Body Logic you receive a full medical evaluation, personalized dosing, ongoing lab monitoring, and regular provider check-ins.
Does insurance cover the program?
Most insurance plans do not cover GLP-1 weight loss programs, though some may cover medication if you have a type 2 diabetes diagnosis. Our visit fees are structured to be affordable. Call the clinic to discuss your situation and payment options.
What are the side effects?
The most common are nausea, constipation, and mild stomach discomfort, especially while the dose is being increased. These are usually manageable and temporary, and your provider adjusts dosing carefully. Serious side effects are rare and are screened for at your initial evaluation.
How quickly will I see results?
Many people notice reduced appetite within one to two weeks, and meaningful weight loss is typically visible by weeks four to eight. In clinical trials, average reductions of 15 to 20 percent were seen over about 68 weeks. Your results depend on your starting weight, program, add-ons, and lifestyle.

They should not be used by people with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2.
